Multi-Skilled, Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £Competitive

Place of Work: Cawston (Own transport is essential)
Hours: Continental Shift Pattern (based on 12 hour days/nights, 4 on and 4 off with consistency at weekends with an average of 42 hours per week)

We have an immediate vacancy for a multi-skilled Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join our maintenance team working with automated bottling/packaging equipment.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • To carry out equipment servicing and preventative maintenance on automated bottling/packing equipment in accordance with specific manufacturers specifications
  • To provide speedy breakdown assistance in an efficient and cost effective manner
  • To keep management and other relevant staff informed at all times during maintenance or problem resolution processes
  • To participate in new equipment introduction and capital projects
  • To maintain documentation/records in accordance with company policy
  • To ensure compliance with H&S policies and procedures
Key Skills / Competencies required:
  • A recognised Engineering and Electrical qualification is essential, ideally 17th Edition
  • Proven track record of working within Food/Beverage production and packaging and have F.M.C.Gs experience.
  • Must be a team-player, flexible and have good attention to detail
