Project Wine Vision, Mission & Values A History of Innovation Our Producers te Pa William Cole Vineyards Project Wine Perlino Our Customers Responsible Drinking Project Wine (formerly Langhorne Creek Winery) is a state-of-the-art grape processing and winemaking facility that was established in 2001, in Langhorne Creek. The winery is strategically located less than one hour from some of South Australia’s best known wine regions, including Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek, and less than two hours from the Limestone Coast and Barossa Valley. Like all good winemakers, Project Wines believe that great wines are made in the vineyards and then nurtured through the winery. This is why they work very closely with all of their grower partners to ensure they have the best possible quality fruit. The winemaking team is led by Peter Pollard. Peter is widely respected within the Australian trade and especially with their supermarkets, including Coles and Woolworths. He studied Oenology at the University of Adelaide and joined Langhorne Creek Winery for the 2002 vintage as Assistant Winemaker. Today he is Project Wine’s Senior Winemaker. He has travelled extensively throughout the major wine regions of France and Italy. Paul Zerella is Project Wine’s Managing Director. He started in trade in 1994 and has held a number of senior roles including International Sales Director for the Lion Nathan Wine Group and Managing Director of Haselgrove Wines.
