Broadland Wineries is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at the New Zealand Wine Annual Trade Tasting
for the first time this year, representing its partner winery, te Pā. Featuring in excess of 500 wines from New Zealand, the event returns to Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Hall in London on Monday 18th
Alongside 90 other producers, Broadland Wineries (table 46) will be showcasing a range of wines from its Marlborough based supply partner, te Pā. Located between the Wairau River, Cloudy Bay and the sea, the land is akin to an island as it is cut off from the mainland. This unique piece of land has always been cultivated and the MacDonald’s can trace their family occupation of this land back to the landing of the first Maori canoes, in what is believed to be New Zealand’s earliest-known settlement in the 1300s. te Pā is 100% family owned and operated by the MacDonald family on their 150 hectares of vineyards. The winery prides themselves on their expert winemaking team and resulting award-winning wines, borne from ancient lands.
The UK is currently the leading market for New Zealand wine with export volume up 10% in the latest MAT Export figures (Nov 2015), highlighting the opportunities to UK wine buyers that this event provides.
