The International Bulk Wine and Spirits Show (IBWSS)
heads to San Francisco this month, providing a premier platform for multiple grocers, retailers, restaurants, wineries, distilleries and other buyers to source bulk wine and spirits, meet leading private label and bulk wine suppliers as well as uncover the latest trends and opportunities for profitability and growth.
“Keeping on top of bulk wine trends and opportunities is going to become increasingly more important for major UK on-trade buyers and suppliers” (The Buyer, 2018).
As a major bulk wine importer, bottler and supplier of branded and private label wines, Broadland Wineries
is looking forward to exhibiting at the show. Our USA team will also be hosting a retailer breakfast on July 25th to discuss strategies that retailers can use to grow their private label sales. Our team will also be available to discuss how companies in the USA on-trade and off-trade can take advantage of bulk wine to engage their customers and grow sales and profitability through exclusive labels.
“Own label made up 52% of total grocery sales over Christmas 2017, growing more than twice as fast as brands" (Kantar Worldpanel 4 weeks ending 31st December 2017).
Through 16 TED-style talks presentations from industry leaders will cover principal ideas on marketing, sales and distribution that will challenge and inspire retailers to grow your private label, bulk wine, and bulk spirits business, providing insight into what strategies and standards the industry's top thinkers are using to shape the marketplace around you.
“The growth of the private label and bulk wine market is one of the most important trends in the wine and spirits industry and has important implications for anyone involved in the sector” (IBWSS, 2018)
In less than three years, with offices in New York and South East US, Broadland has developed the US market and is now supplying wines from all over the world to some of the top retailers across 23 States. We have long-standing relationships with many global retailers and work with the same groups in both the UK and USA.
Broadland’s set up is unique within the US market – in addition to offering a broad range of branded wines, we quickly and cost-effectively source and supply quality private label and bulk wines from all over the world. We focus on innovation particularly new formats, new wine styles and different collaborative wine projects which continually raise the bar across wine and design to deliver enjoyment and excitement among US consumers.
