THREE MILLS IS BRITISH MADE WINE MARKET LEADER
Broadland Wineries is pleased to announce its Three Mills is now the UK market leader in British made wine.
Recent data released by Nielsen has revealed that Three Mills has 44% of volume sales (Nielsen, 52 w/e 17.08.13) and 46% of value sales (Nielsen, w/e 17.08.13). This shows very impressive growth for the brand in the past year, 32% growth in volume sales (Nielsen, w/e 17.08.13) and 31% growth in value sales (Nielsen, w/e 17.08.13). This growth has come from right across the board where each range has seen excellent growth.
Another interesting fact to come out of the Nielsen data is that rosé now accounts for 41% of the British wine category making it important for retailers to be stocking at least one rosé.
Three Mills consists of three ranges, Three Mills Classic, Three Mills Select and Three Mills Reserve. Each contains a red, a white and a rosé wine.
Over the past year the British made wine market has grown by 1.7% in value and 0.4% volume (Nielsen, 52 w/e 17.08.13).
CEO Mark Lansley comments: “we are thrilled to hear this news, Three Mills is a great value range of wines that has developed a strong growing consumer base.”
