Following on from the success in the Sommelier Wine Awards 2015, Broadland Wineries is thrilled to announce it has added a further 36 awards to its haul from the International Wine Challenge 2015, Decanter World Wine Awards 2015 and International Wine & Spirit Competition’s Spanish tranche 2015.
Amongst the 22 awards gained in the International Wine Challenge (IWC) 2015; Broadland Wineries achieved a silver medal for its recently launched Viña Los Porches Rioja Reserva 2010
, four bronze medals and a number of commendations.
In addition to the collection of IWC awards, Broadland Wineries obtained a further six bronze medals and seven commendations at the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) 2015. Further highlighting the quality of Broadland’s new agency wines, the DWWA winners included five of the recently launched William Cole Vineyards wines: William Cole Vineyards Columbine Chardonnay
, William Cole Vineyards Columbine Pinot Noir
, William Cole Vineyards Mirador Reserve Carménère
, William Cole Vineyards Mirador Reserve Pinot Noir
and William Cole Vineyards Mirador Reserve Sauvignon Blanc
Finally, Broadland Wineries also gained another medal in the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2015 following the Spanish tranche results, with a bronze medal for Viña Los Porches Rioja Crianza 2012
Following on from last year’s fantastic achievements, this year has not disappointed and this total of 41 awards highlights the quality of products at Broadland Wineries.
These industry competitions are notoriously tough and wines are subjected to rigorous judging through blind tastings. The results have worldwide recognition and are promoted extensively throughout the year by the organisers to increase awareness in both the trade and with consumer audiences.
