Broadland Wineries partners with Pinnacle Drinks (Australia)

Tuesday 12 December 2017

We are delighted to announce that we have recently partnered with Pinnacle Drinks (Australia) in a major brand and distribution deal.
Pinnacle Drinks are the exclusive brand supplier to Endeavour Drinks Group - the Liquor Division of Australia’s Woolworths Group, one of the world’s leading drinks retailers.  This partnership brings together a network of global supply relationships, sophisticated logistics capability and significant expertise in brand building.
The deal includes Pinnacle’s Australian brand- the iconic and multi-award winning Dorrien Estate in Australia’s famous Barossa Valley wine region, while also securing access to the great relationships Pinnacle has with Australian and New Zealand wine producers for Broadland branded, private label, and own-label wines.

Mr Paul Schaafsma, Broadlands CEO, said today “UK retailers are constantly searching for ways to exceed their customer's expectations for great quality wines at fantastic prices. This partnership creates a natural stepping stone for us to achieve our ambition of delivering an authentic branded portfolio while guaranteeing our supply of competitively priced Australian and New Zealand quality bulk wine to meet growing demand for own-label and private label wines".

Mr Lloyd Stephens, General Manager International Markets at Pinnacle Drinks, said “We started to export our drinks brands three years ago by carefully selecting partner companies like Broadlands who are committed to forming long-term strategic relationships to build sustainable opportunities to grow the sales of Australian and New Zealand wine”.
“The UK is a market in which we believe strong Australian and New Zealand brands can be built and value created based on quality and consistency of product. Natural synergies exist between our brand building goals and Broadland’s local production capability and desire to grow their portfolio to become a one stop offer for UK customers”, Mr Stephens said.
Mr Schaafsma said “We look forward to showcasing wines from Dorrien Estate at their official launch to the UK market at the Australia Day trade tasting”.
Broadland Wineries will be exhibiting at the Australia Day Tasting in London on 23rd January, Edinburgh on 25th January, and Dublin on 29th January 2018.
